Yes! At last my pretties! The time for commissions has arrived! Make sure you scroll through. There's an email form. Anyone who doesn't fill out the email form properly will get an automatic rejection.
ALSO: Did you check the commission slots? Sometimes you can't see it on the header because Blogger hates me, but it's updated as things change. Be sure to check it out before reading more.

I will not accept a commission request for anything that is sexually explicit, racist, prejudice, makes me personally uncomfortable, or is against my personal morals. You are welcome to take your business elsewhere and your money will be returned if this is the case.
I'm imperfect and will gladly accept criticism in part from customers if they wish to have anything changed. After all, it's YOUR commission. Not mine. As is often the case, new projects get in the way and I may forget about requests from previous paying costumers (I've taken precautions) to make changes. Just email me or bug me. Don't worry about upsetting me. You're the customer. Keeping poking and prodding me.
In the slots page you'll see how many spaces I have opened up and the wait period (which often isn't very specific). I like to do my work all in one sitting but blocks happen and I always make it a point to contact the customer if that's the case. If anything I'm oft inclined to add a free piece if it takes longer than I hoped.
Most commissions take a few days, but again, it does happen at times that it takes me a few weeks. The bigger the commission, the longer the wait. I try to make an effort to stay in contact with the customer so I can update them. Don't be afraid to email me if you feel it's taking too long.
If your commission has a due date simply make that clear from the get go. I believe in first come first serve but I might be willing to make an exception. If not I'll be sure to let you know I can't meet the due date. But otherwise I'll try my best to meet that.
.::OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS::.
If you can't pay via Paypal or for some reason don't see the genius behind paying me via books then feel free to mention that in your email to me so we can discuss alternatives (just buy me a book. It's a steal). Special commissions can only be purchased from shops. Those seeking to pay via Paypal who want a physical print have the option of buying the print themselves (Staples for example) or we can arranged something through my shop (but that's pricy. Sooo Staples?). If your commission is a special commission for an item that cannot be bought from Redbubble or Society6 we'll discuss it via email.
I really hope this never ACTUALLY happens, but on the off chance that someone does something no bueno they will be added to the blacklist where they are thereby prohibited from a commission from yours truly. Things worthy of the blacklist: plagarism (this could be a non costumer), using it for any form of hate, photomanipulating my piece without permission, or being a total biotch.
Email to: Ja.DeJesus18@yahoo.com
Subject Line: Commission Request
Style: (ex: Vector sample 1)
Reason: (for a wedding gift, advertising, just because you ship them so hard, ect)
References: (note: this is great help for me but not absolute. Just know if you don't I take liberties with design. DO YOU REALLY WANT THAT???)
Notes: (whatever you feel you need to add, like a compliment to my fabulous hair)
If I feel alright with doing it I'll respond with information on payment and/or book request. If your commission is rejected for the reasons above expect a standard rejection form. It's nothing personal, but I can't do something I'm not okay with.
If I don't have time due to full slots you'll either be put on the waiting list or rejected. You're welcome to try again when slots and waiting list are full. Waiting list commissioners are welcome to cancel, but they get a free sketch.
Q: Do you do covers?
A: Nope. Not for money anyway. But if you commission me and want to use your own skills to turn the piece into a cover go ahead. I won't stop you.
Q: Can you draw my OTP?
A: Freak yeah I can. Even if they're my NOTP.
Q: Do you do logos?
A: No. I would think anyone who wants a logo wants something professional.
Q: Can you do a pattern for a phone/something?
A: That goes under Special Orders and YES I CAN.
Q: Do you do portraits?
A: Technically yes, but also no. I don't do portrait commissions because I lack the tools and take ten centuries to finish one.
Q: Do you do paintings?
A: See above.
Q: Do you do traditional pieces?
A: If I were in Utah with all of my art supplies at my leisure, sure. But right now, no. I also don't have a scanner to showcase my work.
Q: You say you don't do sexual pieces but what about blood and guts?
A: As long as I don't feel like I'm in an episode of Hannibal, sure. But I'm squeamish and I never do that so why bother?
Q: Do you draw animals?
A: Do you want a terrible drawing? I wouldn't recommend commissioning someone in an area they're CLEARLY not well practiced in. There are other artists out there.
Q: Is it helpful to give you the name of a celebrity/model/whatever for reference?
A: Yes. Though sometimes that's why I'm blocked. It's not like when I draw my own characters because I know their features intimately. If you need actors or whatever sure. If you send me pictures all the better.
Q: Can I send you a book I really like?
A: No because if I hate it I'm going to blame you. If you paid me in money it'd probably go to a book I've been thinking of anyway.
Q: Are you good at backgrounds?
A: Nope. I was tempted to say backgrounds cost $75 or something so no one would pick it. I can do them, it just takes me a while.
Q: Can I post your art on my site/wattpad/an article/whatever?
A: Of course! But if you could credit me and link back to this blog that'd be sweet as macaroons.
Q: I live in a foreign country and can't pay you via paypal or books, what should I do?
A: I don't know, but let's talk about it.
Let me know if you have any questions or can think of any to add to this monster.
LET'S GET DRAWING!
